Who we are
Filipina Cabin Crew (“we”, “us”) operates the website at filipinacabincrew.com. We are an independent community platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any airline, aviation authority, or organization.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Mentorship application: your name, email address, the answers you provide about your current situation and goals, and anything you write in the message field.
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, financial details, passport or identity document numbers, or copies of official documents.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter you asked for.
- To read and reply to your mentorship application or message.
- To keep a record of correspondence so that a later reply makes sense.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with airlines, recruiters or advertisers.
Cookies and analytics
Fonts, images, styles and scripts are served from our own domain rather than from third-party networks, so the page itself loads without calling out to anyone else.
We do use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether people find what they came for. To do this, Google sets cookies in your browser and processes information including your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use this only in aggregate; we do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not run advertising or remarketing on this site.
You can prevent this at any time by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings, by using your browser's "do not track" or tracking-protection features, or by installing Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Google's own handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Nothing on this site stops working if you block analytics.
Search from the site header is submitted to an external search engine, which handles that query under its own privacy policy.
Service providers
Email sign-ups and form submissions are processed by the mail or form service configured for this site, and hosting is provided by our web host. These providers process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Website analytics are provided by Google, as described above.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Mentorship applications: for the duration of the program cycle and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
- Contact messages: kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to its use. To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
This site is intended for people considering or working in an aviation career and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
We link to airline careers pages and other external websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Always check where a link takes you before entering personal details.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the forms on this site.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted on the community page.
